Antwon - 3rd World Grrl
Dude has been laying down in San Jose for a minute now and you’d be forgiven for thinking he sounds like a young Biggie Smalls. He spits over throw back beats that sound like they’re bubbling and hissing out of an old boombox. You should fucks with Antwon. We fucks with Antwon.

The Knife - A Tooth for an Eye
We’re awaiting anxiously for The Knifes full return 04/09/13 when they’ll drop their much anticipated album Shaking the Habitual. They offer up a new cut from that album here, and prove that they are on point and in form still with their brand of woozy lyricism and dark samples.

James Blake - Digital Lion

Skrillex - Smell This Money
There’s a little movie coming out called Spring Breakers that just so happens to be dropping a little soundtrack March 12th that is produced by a little mane named Skrillex. The soundtrack is composed in part by Cliff Martinez (Drive) and the two have put together a monster of a score for the film. The soundtrack finds Skrillex producing his most headphone friendly cuts to date and sees a departure from the formulaic joints he’s been lauded for. Lots of club bangers too by the likes of Wakka, Gucci and even a little James Franco getting his club hype on.

Drake - 5AM in Toronto
Can this man be stopped?! Drake drops the melodic crooning and the impossibly catchy hooks and just goes HAM on the track. No holds back. The beat and rhymes teeters on the verge of self-implosion and are only held together by Drakes flow. Boi-1da on the production.

Joey Bada$$ - Wendy N Becky (feat. Chance The Rapper) (prod. Thelonius Martin)
Joey is still on his missions to bring back boom-bap in a big way and boy is he ever succeeding. Smooth jazz samples over jumpy progressive lyrical flow. You can almost hear the needle skip on this joint.
